Castor oil plant - Ricinus communis Ricinus
castor bean - also wonder tree of Zanzibar, known as Palma Christi or Christ palm. It grows with us in the field only as a one-year plant and is about 1-4m high, as the Christ Palm (has nothing to do with a palm tree) is not frost hardy. It grows very quickly (hence Designation miracle tree), persistently high in tropical countries and to over 10m. It blooms from July to September. Origin of the Ricinus communis, Africa, now grows in us as in gardens and parks, ornamental shrub. BUT CAUTION: The seeds, when chewed, they are extremely toxic and can lead to death (no other plant parts)! Therefore reconsider The planting along roads and near important in children - in advance!
